HERE GOES
ONCE UPON A TIME, in the fall of 2010, I joined roller derby. In the winter, I was asked to be Electronic Media Specialist for the site www.rollerderbyforum.org. The job entailed starting up a facebook and a twitter and running it. I did my task and continued updating it.
Long story short, not many people took to the forum. One day, the site was just gone, apparently abandoned by its creator.
But wait! I had made a facebook and twitter for something that no longer existed, the facebook alone had over 400 friends in the derby world and was gaining friend requests left and right.
So, I bought the forum address and tried to make a forum. Epic fail. I kept at it though. I have all intentions of keeping good on rollerderbyforum.org.
