Tonight was the lunar eclipse, and I missed it. I wanted to see it so badly. Like most places in the United States, it was clouded, so viewing was impossible. I was streaming it live from the web, and found the best footage was coming from Chili. My efforts were in vain though for I woke up on the sofa to a blank computer screen, Married with Children on the television, and my fat cat trying to open my window shades. Dang poor planning on my part by falling asleep without setting the alarm on my smart phone. All in all, I was most disappointed when I opened the shades for my persistent feline only to find a beautiful and bright moon staring back at me. I had missed the transition of sun and moon tonight, and am now very jealous of all that witnessed it!
